Every so often, it just does your mind and soul some good to get away with your girls. Away from phones, away from laptops, ipads, civilization…. This whirlwind trip to Taos was just that.

A little bit of hiking, a lot of quality time, attempted fishing (but I had 2 on the line!), catching up, cooking, cleaning, creek crossing with a YETI (no easy task), dog-time, drive time, podcasts on the drive that was too long for our stay… But my favorite has to be listening to Laura’s baby bird whistle when she thought no one could hear her.
